I don't know about you, but I love the old Star Trek Series that came out during my younger days. It was the "Buck Rogers" of our time. I think I've watched every episode that was ever made and I can even tell within a few seconds of the start of a show, which episode is going to play. I still enjoy Star Trek today and I think we will all have to agree that it was one of the most popular Sci-Fi programs ever made.

 

There were many episodes where the Enterprise would run into a space Warning Buoy that would warn them of an impending doom if they didn't heed it's warnings seriously. As fate would have it our heroes would always succumb to the fate of the warning, but have no fear, they would always escape the ordeal with only a few scratches. Don't you wish life was like this?

 

Just like in Star Trek, God has sent us a Warning Buoy to warn us of a possible disastrous future in our lives. This warning buoy that God has sent us is the Bible. He is trying to warn the inhabitants of this planet that we need to realize that there is coming a point in our existence where time will close, eternity continues and a judgment or reward will be administered to everyone who has ever lived on this planet.

 

The notion that this event will ever occur is to some, fairy tales, or foolishness. Others will say they do not see the Bible as something they need to hearken to or feel God is not relevant to them. They simply do not see the need for a savior or see the truths of the Bible. This makes perfect sense, since in order for you to understand the truths of this book, you need the help of a person called the Holy Spirit, and this helper is not given to mankind without the acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You need to have the Holy Spirit in you to understand truths of Bible scriptures and the current times we live in.

 

When you receive the HolySpirit, He will allow you to see things in the Bible like you've never seen before and you will understand exactly what is going on in this world around you.

 

 

 

Again, the "Buoy" I refer to here, is the Bible, the spreading of the Gospel and the teaching of the soon return of Jesus. To those who do not believe in God, to them, this is foolishness.

 

 

 

 

What is this buoy asking of Mankind? The gist of this book is simply that God is asking you to step in faith and trust Jesus as your Lord and saviour. For many, this seems impractical and to others their attempt in the past to understand God and His word, has been met with disappointment or confusion. Without the Holy Spirit, it will not make sense.

 

All that God is asking of any of us, is that we open our hearts to Jesus and to take that step of faith towards Him. For some this will mean that you need to step out again in child like faith, even after personal failure, and take the hand of God. He will give you His Holy Spirit and He will not let you down, if you make a true acceptance of Jesus.

 

If you are one who has not been heeding this Warning Buoy that God has placed on this planet then please reconsider where you are now. Time will one day close and the decisions you make now will determine the future you will have.

On a final note, understand that Satan does not want you to believe in Christ and will continue to deceive and misdirect you from a decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He will try to hide this Warning Beacon, God's truth, from you in order to destroy your future and God's plans for your life.
