Confusion

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.   - Psalms 55:22

Temptation

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to secure them that are tempted.   - Hebrews 2:18

 

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. - II Peter 2:9

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is tempted, when he drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.   - James 1:13,14

 

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.   - Proverbs 28:13

 

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.   - James 4:7

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   - I John 1:9

Anger

Grief

Rebellion

Obedience

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.   - Deuteronomy 11:26-28

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.   - I Samuel 15:22

 

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. - I John 2:3-6

 

And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then will I lengthen thy days.   - I Kings 3:14

 

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Mercy

With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.   - Psalms 18:25

 

I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.- Psalms 37:25,26

 

A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.- Proverbs 12:10

 

He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor.  - Proverbs 21:21

 

He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he. Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good. He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.   - Proverbs 14:21,22,31

Forgiving

For this is thanksworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he  threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  - I Peter 2:19-23

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. - I Peter 4:12-14

Satan

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.   - Revelation 12:11

 

Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.   - Ephesians 6:10-12

 

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower that the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  - Hebrews 2:9,14,15

 

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.   - Luke 10:17-19

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.   - II Corinthians 10:3-5

 

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. - IICor 11:14-15

 

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. - I John 4:1-4
