all their troubles. - Psalms 34:17

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers , they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - Isaiah 43:2
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. - I Peter 4:12,13
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life,
nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come, nor height, nor
depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans
8:38,39
| Loneliness | Back to Top |

things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake
thee. - Hebrews 13:5
For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people. - I Samuel 12:22

I will never leave you comfortless: I will come to
you. - John 14:18

wounds. - Psalms

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.- I Peter 5:6,7
| Worry | Back to Top |
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. - I Peter 5:7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6,7
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.- Isaiah 26:3
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19
Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment. Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? - Matthew 6:25-30
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take there no though for the morrow : for the morrow shall take thought for things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. - Matthew 6:31-34
| Confusion | Back to Top |
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all
the churches of the saints. - I Corinthians 14:33
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. - II Timothy 1:7
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality , and without hypocrisy. - James 3:16-18
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him. - James 1:5

and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the
world are
come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he
fall. - Corinthians 10:12,13
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to secure them that are tempted. - Hebrews 2:18
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. - II Peter 2:9

be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is
tempted,
when he drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. - James 1:13,14

A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident: He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated. - Proverbs 14:16,17
| Grief | Back to Top |
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others
which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. - I
Thessalonians 4:13,14
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our
Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation
and good hope
through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word
and work. - II Thessalonians 2:16,17
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand
of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon
him; for he careth for you. -
I Peter 5:6,7
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - I Corinthians 15:55-57
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldy unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. - Hebrews 4:15,16

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father. - Romans 8:15
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. - I John 4:18
Here shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come neigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. - Psalms 91:10,11
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.- Psalms 56:11

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that

let it be afraid. - John 14:27

| Obedience | Back to Top |
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing,
if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command
you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments
of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way
which I command this day, to go after other gods, which ye have
not known. - Deuteronomy 11:26-28
And
Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is
better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. - I Samuel 15:22
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. - I John 2:3-6
And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then will I lengthen thy days. - I Kings 3:14
Children, obey your parents in all things: for this
is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children
to anger, lest they be discouraged. Servants, obey in all things your
masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as menpleasers;
but in singleness of heart, fearing God. And whatsoever ye do, do it
heartily, as to the Lord,
and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of
the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong
shall receive for the wrong which he hath
done: and there is no respect of person. - Colossians 3:20-24

He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that
hath mercy on the poor, happy is he. Do they not err that devise evil?
but mercy and
truth shall be to them that devise good. He that oppresseth the poor
reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the
poor. - Proverbs 14:21,22,31
| Forgiving | Back to Top |
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you do good
to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and
persecute you; - Matthew 5:44
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, you heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. - Matthew 6:14,15
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
bowels of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have
a quarrel against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. - Colossians 3:13
For this is thanksworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief,
suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if when ye be buffeted for your
faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for
it, ye take it patiently this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were
ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that
ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found
in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he
suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that
judgeth righteously: - I Peter 2:19-23
Beloved, think it not strange concerning
the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened
unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings;
that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye, for the spirit of
glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but
on your part he is glorified. - I Peter 4:12-14
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. - Romans 12:21
| Satan | Back to Top |
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil,
as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. - I Peter 5:8,9
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and
he will flee from you. - James 4:7
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death. - Revelation 12:11
Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. - Ephesians 6:10-12
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower that the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. - Hebrews 2:9,14,15
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are
subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as
lightning fall from heaven. Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any
means hurt you. - Luke 10:17-19
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons
of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down
of strong holds) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth
itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought
to the obedience of Christ. - II Corinthians 10:3-5
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. - IICor 11:14-15
Beloved, believe not every spirit,
but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets
are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that
confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of
God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard
that it should come; and even now is it in the world. Ye are
of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that
is
in you, than he that is in the world. - I John 4:1-4
